Story

Rohingya refugees living in Bangalore are finding it difficult to feed themselves and their families during the recent lockdown. There are about 1300 odd families(Refugees & Migrant Workers) including hundreds of children living in Dasarahalli slums (Bangalore), all involved in rag picking for survival. With the lockdown imposed they do not have any source of income whatsoever. Apart from food & ration they also do not have access to most of the hospitals as they do not posses Indian ID proofs but only refugee cards issued by the UNHCR.
We are a group of social activists from Zindagi Public Charitable Trust, Law & Policy Research Institute who have been working for the cause of refugees since 3 years in Bangalore. We are looking forward to help them with ration and medical expenses during the pandemic. With your donations we will be providing them ration kits worth INR 1500 each to survive the pandemic. In case of any medical emergencies , we hope to stand with them with collected resources.
All bills of purchases along with beneficiary list will be uploaded here for transparency.
