Ravi Kumar and Shashi Devi were overwhelmed with joy when little Rinki came into their lives, but their happiness didn't last long. She was born with a ball like a cyst on her back. Soon after birth, her health started deteriorating. The helpless parents were terrified to see the cyst-like structure growing bigger with each passing day.

They hoped it would resolve with operation as she turned two, but all their hopes were shattered as it got more prominent. Baby Rinki is now four-year-old, and people mock her for her condition. She still has a chance to correct her deformity before it completely eats her up, but her parents have no means to afford the surgery.

A severe case of Spine Bifida has filled four-year-old Rinki's childhood with pain and suffering.

Spine Bifida is a neural tube congenital disability that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly. It affects the spine badly and is usually evident at birth.

As the little girl grew older, she could not stand properly on her feet and was unable to lie peacefully on her back. She has to sleep on one side day and night. She moves by dragging her hands and knees, due to which she developed wounds. There is excessive strain on her spine. She can't even pass stool on her own and has lost control of urination. Life can get worse for her if the treatment gets delayed.

"My child's blister is getting bigger and bigger. I am afraid it can burst at any time. When the doctors explained her rare disease and the need for surgery, I broke into tears. She lies on one side all day watching her siblings play. I need help for my child's treatment." Shashi Devi, mother.

Baby Rinki is too innocent to understand the severity of her condition and questions her parents about why she looks so different. Despite her illness, she fills the whole place with her infectious smile. She gives hope to everyone. But feels terrible when people around make fun of her.

Poor parents try their best to escape their daughter from a cruel fate.

Rinki's father is a daily wage earner. He earns Rs 300 a day, and there are days when he has no job. It's hard for him to feed his family with such limited earnings. His children had to drop school as he could not pay for their education. Her mother, Shashi Devi, is a housewife who looks after her ailing daughter and feeds her other children all day.

"I don't want my daughter to suffer because of our poverty. I am a helpless father who can't do anything for his children. I beg for your help to save my child's life." Ravi Kumar, father.

How can you give her a new life?

Four-year-old Rinki is struggling to sit or even lie down straight because of a severe case of Spine Bifida. Her condition is getting worse with every passing day. Her parents have no means to pay for her surgery which is the only way to save her from this vulnerable condition. They desperately seek your support. Your generous support can bless Rinki with a new life.
