Orokhbuniya is a small village of East medinipur of West Bengal. This village being close to sea has been devastated in terms of normal livelihood of villagers. Fishing and farming were main means of their earning which has been severely affected by Yaas cyclone. Farming is not possible now due to increase in salinity of soil. Children are completely detached from education. They have no resources to continue their education. Sharadi Foundation aims to support their livelihood and to help the villagers to recover their excessive loss.
