The impact of Nivar cyclone, as expected, is the worst for those living in thatched roof houses. We have seen  this from our Gaja cyclone experience.

The demand for temporary roof, over damaged  homes, is significant. Till relief is provided and permanent repairs are done they need to live, they have to work.

Bhoomika Trust and it partner NGO's have has identified settlements across Chengulpet and Tiruvallur districts which are a bit remote , which need these temporary roof cover urgently. We will be procuring and providing tarpaulins.
