I am Neha Khetawat, and my mother Renu Khetawat is suffering from stage-3 ovarian cancer, which is a high grade serious adenocarcinoma of primary Mullerian origin. She is 58 years old and had been diagnosed with this disease about 4 months back. She has undergone 3 of her scheduled 6 chemo cycles since.  She is currently being treated at Sushrut Hospital Mumbai, where she has to undergo few critical surgeries for her recovery. These surgeries will be expensive. Doctors estimate costs at Rs.3.85 lacs for the surgeries and Rs.4.5 lacs including medicines and supportive care. This is way beyond what we can afford. We need help. These are tough times for us. My father has a monthly income of Rs.8,000, and both my brothers are still studying. I am a married woman, and am having to run pillar to post to gather funds for my mother’s treatment. The ongoing pandemic has added to our financial woes. We have already spent more than Rs.1.5 lacs on her treatment till date. She will need 3 more chemo cycles following the surgeries to complete her therapy schedule. We have exhausted all our savings and are in debt from friends and family. 

My mother means the world to us. We love her a lot. It breaks my heart to say this, but she may not survive long without the surgeries. Please help us.
