Story

This is Her Last Hope. Please come forward and prove that humanity still exists 🙏

I am Ishani, a friend of Aayush, whose father, the only breadwinner of his family, recently lost his battle with deadly Cancer & Covid-19. Now, his family, after facing extreme mental, monetary & physical exhaustion for ONE WHOLE YEAR, is now in huge financial distress & mental trauma.

EVEN THE SMALLEST DONATION FROM YOUR SIDE WILL HELP IN BRINGING A BIG CHANGE!!!

If you are not capable of donating money, kindly donate some time and share it in your circle. That would be a big contribution to benefit this cause 🙏

My friend Aayush's mother, Renu, is not well educated and has no source of income. She is now left all alone with so many responsibilities to carry including her own long and lonely life. She has two sons whom she has to take care of until they become self dependent. She also has to support and finance their education in this tough time of debts & financial exhaustion that they are suffering due to the medical infrastructure. Even after giving the best she and her sons could, they are unable to arrange funds for their life ahead. She needs this money to restart her life, stand on her feet again and lead her children’s life forward along with her own.

My friend’s father Lalan, now deceased, was born in an underprivileged family in Bihar. He faced multiple hardships like hunger, extreme poverty throughout his childhood and adolescence. He lost his mother at an early age and then devoted his life to securing his family’s future and helping other people in whatever way he could.

Despite being beaten up by poverty all his life, he never let his family down, not even for once and no matter how tough the circumstances were, he always kept a smile on his face and continued to spread happiness around him.

It was not long ago when he was finally free from the hardships and his life took a turn to joy. This is when cancer entered his life and brought some unexpected arrival of unfortunate events.

It was March 2020, when the symptoms of cancer began to show up but lockdown restricted him to go for proper treatment at a place with adequate medical facilities. In June-July 2020, his family took him to different medical centers for treatment. However, none of them seemed to be helpful due to the extremely bad covid situation in the country.

By the time he was taken to Delhi for proper treatment in Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, his condition was already terminal, yet he thrived through that. His two children and his wife, along with the support of some kind people like you, put in all the efforts they could to provide the best care and the best possible treatment.

Despite all the chemotherapeutic complications, financial stress and mental trauma, he had a grin on his face and consoled his loved ones rather than being consoled himself.

Right when he was almost cancer-free and was ready to go back to his hometown, CANCER RELAPSED and from that point on, the financial exhaustion only increased. On the other hand, the response to the medicines only decreased.

As if the situation was not bad enough already, he came in contact with the deadly virus, COVID-19, which has taken so many lives and left many people in a bad traumatic and financial state. After this infection, the deterioration boosted which WORSENED THE CANCER.

And despite of all the efforts from his family, doctors, treatment staff, donors and hundreds of people who prayed for his well being, the great & loving soul of LALAN left us for heavenly abode on May 1st, 2021 leaving behind his family in eternal trauma and helplessness.

We know that this loss can never be truly compensated, but we can at least help the family to come out of this financial drainage and help them live a better life, a life they truly deserve.

So I, Ishani, ask for your help to let Renu and her children fight these tough times and ask you to join my hand so that together we can help them to get back to a normal, healthy and happy life.
