I am Rensa Vats, a 1st Year MA student at the Centre for Comparative Literature, University of Hyderabad.
I am elated to inform you that the abstract I submitted for a paper presentation at the Triennial Congress of ICLA has been accepted by the selection committee. The panel under which I would be presenting is being chaired by Prof. Chandra Mohan.
Here is the website link for the Congress: https://icla2022-tbilisi.ge/
Here is the link for the list of selected abstracts: https://icla2022-tbilisi.ge/post/199/en (see point 22).
The Congress is set to take place in Tbilisi, Georgia from 24th July to 29th July.
Being a budding scholar in the field of Comparative Literature, presenting at this Congress is an opportunity I am looking forward to. Comparative Literature as a discipline has found a strong footing in India attributing its success to the prevalent diversity and multilingualism. I would be glad to present the complexities of Literatures from India on a global level.
