This request is by Shivam Srivastava. I am an IIT Roorkee alumni of batch 2018. Currently I am working at Texas Instruments, Bangalore. My father, Mr. Ravi Kumar Srivastava, 55 years old has been diagnosed with stage IV Intrahepatic Cellular Carcinoma (Liver Cancer) in December 2020.

Since then, the cancer has been contained with multiple chemotherapy sessions every 3-4 weeks, without any significant recovery. On 12 July, 2021, we found out that a severe infection originating from the cancer situation has spread through his entire body and is affecting his basic body functions and vitals. He has not been able to consume any form of solid/liquid food.

Owing to his critical situation, he has now been admitted to the ICU. Till here, I have borne all the expenses of the treatment and have exhausted almost all my savings. I am now the sole earning member supporting a family of 5 people. I also don’t have the required mediclaim to sustain the ongoing treatment and meet day to day medical expenses, resulting in an extremely difficult financial constraint for me. Kindly provide whatever aid possible to help me and my family fight through this present crisis. We have already been fighting the battle since a long time with utmost positive energy and courage.
