These are testing times for my friend's family. In January, 2020 they had spent around 13 Lakh (with the help of their family members and fellow Samaritans like you) for initial diagnosis and treatment alone. The family had spent all their saving towards his initial treatment. After the initial treatment he was discharged and was asked visit the hospital every month for mild chemotherapy, which had costed the family Rs 50,000 every month. Now these past few months, my friend being sole bread winner of the family had to go through a lot of hardship and make sacrifices to keep the treatment going.
During one such chemo visit this month, there has been a sudden shoot up of White Blood Cells. Up until now, because of mild chemo sessions the WBC had been kept in a manageable range. In the last blood test report, the WBC count has risen rapidly to 2,28,000 (for a normal person the range is 4,500 – 11,000) which is higher than the count that was reported when they first diagnosed him with ALM in January. It is a case of relapse (no longer responding to current treatment) was what we were informed by the doctor. The only option now is to go for higher dose of chemotherapy. The doctor has advised us to get him admitted as soon as possible and start the treatment. High chemotherapy treatment will once again cost around 12 to 13 Lakhs. At this phase which is haunted by corona virus, the family has pledged the last set of jewels and arranged around 1 Lakh which is well short of the estimated treatment amount. Which is why once again I have come seeking help from you to save my friend’s father and his family. Your good deed today might create a miracle tomorrow.
No amount is less. Please do donate and encourage people around you to donate.
In the next 20 days, we need Rs.1,000,000.00 more for further treatment. Please come forward to support my cause. Share this campaign link with your friends and family.
