These children's both parents, Rattan Rai Singh and his wife, Anita, suffered a serious road accident on September 30th.  While on their way to buy groceries their motorcycle was hit head-on by a speeding car.

Rattan Rai, a daily wage earner, suffered multiple head, face, leg, and internal injuries. He is admitted in DMC Ludhiana and has undergone multiple leg and face surgeries after being on ventilator support for nearly 2 weeks; he faces a long stay in hospital and an indefinite recovery time after that. Anita suffered hip fractures and internal injuries, and has undergone surgeries at a Jallandhar hospital. Though she has been operated for her injuries, she is expected to be bed-ridden at home for few months. Till then she needs to be taken care of for all her needs.

So far the extended family has pitched-in for all medical expenses but bills are insurmountable. We humbly appeal for your support during these tough times to support this family. Your support will not only help them pay for medical bills but will also assist them with rehabilitation therapy and unemployment during recovery phase.
