He couldn't get proper care in a place like Bettiah in Bihar. He had fever for 3 days, when he went for the rapid antigen test. The report came negative. When the fever didn't go down in the next 2 days, he went to the doctor again, this time to be diagnosed with a false positive Typhoid. Also, the doctor said confidently that he doesn't have Covid. Even though he went for RT-PCR. The result came positive after 3 days - by then the SPO2 level had dropped to 85-87. He was rushed to hospital.
There was no improvement in is condition. He survived on 60-70 level of SPO2 for over 48 hours. The ventilator in the hospital wasn't free. There were 60 ventilators (allegedly) and only 4 were working which were currently used for other patients. He got the ventilator when the SPO2 level had already fallen to sub 40s. Finally he took his last.
An ever smiling person, he is being survived by 2 daughters and a son. The elder daughter passed +2 last year and scored 85% plus. She is an engineering aspirant and was to get an admission this May-June. The younger one is giving 12th boards this year. The youngest son is just 5 years old.
They need your support to survive. The daughters are very meritorious and if helped, they will do well in life. The elder daughter is determined to be the torch bearer. For that they would require 4 years of assistance - by the time she completes her studies.
They require your help! He was my uncle! We are trying our best to support them, but in these trying times, small contributions will help them survive. The money will be directly deposited to his wife's account
