This fundraiser is created for the treatment of RanaPratap Biswas's mother. She is suffering from Black Fungus aka Mucormycosis as diagnosed by Doctors. The family is based out of Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. But since there wasn't much treatment available in their district the family has to take her to Lucknow for further treatment.

Brief History

Since 2nd May his(Rana's) mother was suffering from Covid. Last week itself she was discharged from hospital. The family had to spend a lot of their savings for her treatment as she was on Oxygen support.

After they returned home she starting having vomiting of blood. She was again taken back to hospital. After some tests doctors diagnosed it as Black Fungus (Mucormycosis). But since there wasn't any good hospitals in their district(deoria) they were referred to Jovial Hospital and trauma Centre in Lucknow.

In last couple of days, doctors has started the treatment but since her mother has a history of Diabetes the treatment is getting costlier day by day.

Current Status

Around 40k is the amount getting spent on a daily basis for hospitalisation and medicines.
Hospital has estimated the treatment to cost around 3 Lakhs for now.

The family isn't sound enough currently to support this expense, As they had already exhausted with their saving on COVID treatment a couple of weeks ago.
