Ramphal Singh was a bank clerk at my branch. He was a COVID warrior in true sense providing banking services with full dedication and even when not feeling well in these difficult times. He fell to COVID-19 suddenly on 03/05/2021 and left us with a heavy heart.
He came from marginalized section of society and without any social or financial support. Both his parents had left him early in childhood. Despite the odds, he was taking care of his family including wife, four kids and a younger brother.
He has left a large liability of around Rs 33 lakhs in the form of Home loan, which he took to secure a roof for his family.
This effort is a cry for help his family to at least not be worried about the liabilities after this life shattering incident.
