My name is Navin Das and I am here to raise funds for my uncle, G. Ramakrishna Rao who is 68 years old. Ramakrishna Rao lives in Bhubaneswar, Odisha with his siblings. He has been mostly jobless all his life and has been financially dependent.

Currently, Tracheostomy has been done and he is on CPAP Mode (ventilator) in the ICU in KIMS Hospital, Bhubaneshwar (Odisha). He is in a state of delirium and incoherence (Altered Sensorium).

Last month, he tested Covid positive and was hospitalized.

He started having frequent episodes of seizures (Tonic Clonic Seizures and Low Glasgow Coma Scale) three weeks ago, i.e., on 07-July-2021. Due to long-standing neurological disorders, diabetes, and age his recovery is extremely slow and impaired.

He suffered from neurological disorders from childhood. He has been severely diabetic (Type II DM) for over 30 years and underwent amputation of toes due to diabetic gangrene. Severe digestive disorders, kidney disorder (Diabetic Nephropathy), regular leakage of urine (Urinary Incontinence) and High BP (Hypertension) have also been there for nearly 30 years.

We've spent about Rs. 7,00,000 (Seven Lacs INR) on his treatment in the last 2 months. He is on steroids and must meet a daily medical expense of Rs 30,000 INR. We've arranged the amount from our savings and loans so far.
In the next 30 days, we need Rs. 15,00,000 (Fifteen Lacs INR) for his further medication and treatment.

Doctors are hopeful of recovery if we can continue with his treatment. So, we appeal to all of you to kindly come forward and save a precious life. Any contribution, however small or big, will be of immense help.
