Urgent Appeal ...
Dear Friends,
Our friend Rakesh Bhagat, age 26, was unexpectedly diagnosed with abdominal cancer in January 2021. It was necessary to remove the tumour by emergency surgery. The surgery was performed at private Hospital, Pune. This did cost a lot of money. We thought it was the end.. Now everything will be fine..But this cancer came again to his life in April 2022. So again all Treatment were started.. In June’s 2022 2nd week surgery was performed to remove tumour but due to this surgery the intestinal pipe was punctured and his Excreta was spreading like poison in his body. Due to this another surgery was performed in 3rd week of June and his anal was relocated to the left side of stomach.
This unfortunate cancer crisis has suddenly arisen on him. His financial situation is precarious. He was working as a bodyguard and his mother does domestic work. His father is suffering from intermittent paralysis and is unable to do any work at present. Also, Rakesh currently has a two year old baby. So the whole financial responsibility of the family & his medical expenses totally depends on his mother’s earning. Rakesh & his family not just facing & fighting with cancer, they are fighting with financial crisis which Covid & cancer have increased the intensity of the same.
We are expecting the total cost of the surgery & medicines will go around Rs. 5,00,000/- . Some acquaintances have helped them & contributed some amount. Last year (2021), We also raised the funds through Milaap & have raised around Rs. of 2,00,000/-.
We have attached relevant documents required for your reference.
We need same support, love, well wishes & trus this year too...

एक आवाहन
दोस्तहो,
आमचा मित्र राकेश भगत, वय २८ ह्याला जानेवारी २०२१ मध्ये अचानक कर्करोगाचं निदान झाले. त्यामुळे तातडीची शस्त्रक्रिया करून गाठ काढणे गरजेचं होतं. हि शस्त्रक्रिया जोशी हॉस्पिटल, पुणे येथे पार पडली. त्यासाठी बराच खर्च आला होता. आम्हाला तेव्हा वाटले कि हे इथं थांबेल. पण २०२२ मध्ये हा कर्करोग राकेशच्या आयुष्यात पुन्हा आला. जूनच्या दुसऱ्या आठवड्यात एक शस्त्रक्रिया करण्यात आली. तेव्हा आतड्याला छिद्र पडल्यामुळॆ शरीरात जी विष्ठा तयार होते ती शरीरात पसरायला लागली. त्यामुळे जूनच्या तिसऱ्या आठवड्यात आणखीन एक शस्त्रक्रिया करण्यात आली आहे.
हे कर्करोगाचं संकट राकेशवर अचानक उद्भवलं आहे. राकेशची आर्थिक परिस्थिती बेताची आहे. तो अंगरक्षक (bodyguard) म्हणून काम करत होता तसेच त्याची आई धुण्याभांड्याची कामं करून घर चालवतात. राकेशच्या वडिलांना मध्यंतरी पॅरालिसिसचा ऍटॅक येऊन गेल्याने त्यांना सध्या काही काम करता येत नाहीये. तसेच सध्या राकेशला २ वर्षाचा मुलगा आहे. त्यामुळे एकूणच घराचा गाडा त्याच्या आईच्या उत्पन्नावर चालला आहे. राकेश आणि त्याचे कुटुंबीय फक्त कर्करोगाशी लढा देत नाहीयेत तर कोविड अन कर्करोगाने त्यांची आर्थिक परिस्थिती आणखीन बिकट केली आहे.
ह्यावेळेस साधारण शस्त्रक्रिया , गोळ्या औषधे मिळून साधारण ५,००,००० /- रुपये खर्च येईल असा अंदाज आहे. गेल्या वर्षी अनेक जणांनी आर्थिक मदत केली होती तसेच आम्ही मिलापच्या माध्यमातून देखील पैसे उभे केले होते.
आजारासंबंधीत आवश्यक कागदपत्रे आम्ही सोबत जोडली आहे.
मागच्या वर्षासारखंच ह्या वर्षी देखील तुमचे सहकार्य, प्रेम आणि विश्वासाची राकेश अन त्याच्या कुटुंबियांना गरज आहे.
राकेश हा आमचा शाळेपासूनचा मित्र आहे. त्यामुळेच आमच्याकडून ही आर्थिक मदत उभी करायचा एक छोटासा प्रयत्न ! आपण सर्वांनी मिळून आपल्याला शक्य तितकी मदत करावी ही नम्र विनंती. तसेच हि लिंक तुमचे नातेवाईक, मित्रमंडळी ह्या सर्वांना नक्की पाठवा. तुमची एक छोटीशी मदत खूप महत्वाची आहे.
