Rachel has been rescuing and feeding helpless, abandoned dogs and cats in the Matunga/Wadala area for over 15 years. In her 500 sq ft home, she houses 13 abandoned cats and 2 abandoned dogs, and feeds an additional 20 dogs and cats daily.
She also provides them with medicines and vaccinations, all out of her own pocket!
Parul too has been rescuing animals and birds for a long time and has cared for over 40 birds and 20 dogs over the last year.
However, due to COVID-19 the number of dogs and cats in the area who are starving and dehydrated have risen and need your help.
Rachel and Parul are running out of resources, and finding it extremely difficult to sustain feeding the 70 animals currently under their care.
No donation will go unnoticed, as little 500 rupees can feed a dog or a cat for a week, and save them from the pain of starvation. Their fates rest in our hands.
