Rajendra Kumar Aged 32 resident of Odisha, left his home some 16 years ago from his home in search of better prospects and to grow in life. He used to work as a Painter in his last job during one of his jobs, he got an injury on his left toenail. He thought it was minor and continued to work as he was under pressure from the home for money or as he is uneducated and neglected the wound which was his biggest mistake.

 And under misleading information and guidance from others, he applied Grease and then Kabab Oil on the wound and due to wound he had stopped working so he ended up on streets and was exposed to all the elements of nature. This further infected the minor wound and developed into Gangrene his entire thumb had to be removed which was done at MS Ramaiah College Hospital Bangalore under expert Plastic Surgery Dept headed by qualified Doctors in the month of June and July 2019. 

Post Treatment and in the process of rehabilitating the team got details of Rajendran's family in Odisha and contacted them, after an emotional reunion of the long lost contact between the family and Rajendra post his injury on the thumb, the family wanted to get him back home so they agreed to arrange to send someone from Odisha to take him back so finally the team arranged for tickets for his sisters would be to travel to Bangalore to take him back. Mr Manjhi his would-be brother in law arrived to Bangalore and took care of Rajendran for a weeks time in the hospital and took him back, while he was leaving he informed that the family feels that someone has done Black Magic on both sons of the family and as a result the younger son lost his life and now the family wanted Rajendran back ASAP so that they can perform corrective poojas so that they can get rid of the bad luck. So in a hurry, Manjhi took Rajendran to Odisha via Train on 9/8/19.

After a Month Rajendran was spotted again near one of the team members house who had initially rescued.

 They again decided to take him to hospital as he had come back with a bigger and gruesome looking infection which had grown so the entire foot had got infected as the Surgical wound had got drenched in Rainwater. He was immediately rushed to MS Ramaiah Medical College Hospital to Plastic Surgery Dept because of the extent of the wound he was transferred to Vascular Surgery Department which runs the renowned Advanced Wound Care Centre with eminent Dr's. 

They suggested performing 2 Surgeries parallelly one Thrombectomy and Amputation of the infected part of the Left Leg. Thrombectomy was done as he was a chain Smoker due to which a lot of clots were found during an Arterial Doppler. 

The present situation is we need to raise money to pay the final bill of the hospital's as the surgeries are done.

 The next step is to rehabilitate him and get him into a job after physiotherapy is done.
