I, have been undergoing treatment for Chronic Kidney Disease at CMC Hospital, Vellore since 2013. Over time,my kidney disease has gotten worse causing my kidneys not to work well enough to keep me alive. Last month when I went to CMC Hospital for the routine treatment I was advised to undergo dialysis or kidney transplant . Getting regular dialysis treatment, usually three times a week for four hours at a time,will help my kidneys do their job and keep me alive but this continuing process is really painful and will slowly drain out everything from me . On the other hand a transplant would offer me more healthier and normal life. I belong to a mediocre family and due to my long process of treatment till date I am already going through financial difficulties ,so undergoing a transplant, costing approx. Rs. 10 -15 lakhs, is a herculean task.But still I and my beloved are trying our best.
