I'm Jigna Hiten, founder of a little charity called "Rainbow Animal Aid". I'm a 22 y/o student with a goal to help unfortunate animals of Diu (U.T). We are located in a remote island called Diu (U.T) near Gujarat in India, animals of Diu are unfortunate enough to not have any Veterinary facilities locally.
About Jiyan 🐈:-
Jiyan is born without eyeballs, unluckily, even after posting an adoption appeal for Jiyan hundred of times and waiting for several months, Jiyan didn't get a single inquiry of adoption from India.
Lukily Jiyan has found a loving home in Buckinghamshire, UK. Jiyan's new family is already loving him so much and he will also have three other elder cat siblings & a big yard to play. To make Jiyan's journey possible, we are gathering funds. Please contribute to save his life by making it possible to travel overseas to his forever home by your donation.
About Guinea Pig 🐈:-
We named her Guinea Pig because of her colour coat.
Guinea Pig was born to our resident cat Heroine who's 13y/o unspayed female cat. Just like all of her other kittens, Guinea Pig had lost all her siblings. She was the lone survivor, she was born behind our house in an open land, when we noticed she was crying in the bushes due to high temperature, we took her in our surrounding.
It started raining here, and Guinea Pig used to cry like anything because she was getting wet, was scared and other alpha cats used to fight with her at an extent that she would pee all over the surrounding.
Even after having unadopted fosters out of my capacity, I took Guinea Pig in my foster care. Because I couldn't sleep at night thinking of how all of her siblings got killed by dogs and some went missing, how her mother isn't recognising her and is hissing at her, how she feels lonely and cries about not able to understand why she's left alone.
All these thoughts ate me from deep inside and I had to take her indoors before she too gets killed or goes missing that too in rain. That thought doesn't let me sleep. Now, Guinea Pig is a part of our foster family, with not being able to get most of our existing foster cats/kitten/dogs/pups adopted, we took one more in. That's how our resources, energy and limit gets stretched.
She still has no idea how suddenly she lost everything she had in this big world, all her siblings and her mama.
Luckily one day, a kind lady named Hannah, contacted us from U.K. for Guinea Pig. She fell in love with her unique colour coat and markings as well as her fierce personality.
Now, all we need is to raise funds for their medical procedure, travel expenditure and other costs to help Jiyan & Guinea Pig reach their forever homes together in U.K.
Please share this fundraising link with your friends and family, also share and tag @rainbow_animal_aid over Facebook and Instagram.
Without your support, we won't be able to gather such huge amount. Let's help them reach their loving and deserving homes. Help us help them. Even a little amount goes a long way.
