Hi all,
This 16-year-old boy, Rahul Shaw is suffering from B-CELL ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA and is admitted in TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL of Mumbai, India (Case No.- CS/08226). He is admitted there since 11th March 2019 and is presently going through very critical condition. The Hospital Management has given him an initial estimated cost of Rs.600000/- (Six Lakhs) to conduct his treatment through Chemotherapy and Supportive Care which is next to impossible for his family to arrange as his father is a poor street hawker of Kolkata.
Rahul is a young, bright student with a lot of love for society in his heart. His family is financially too poor to bear this huge amount for his treatment. However, we can’t let go a life like him so soon. So, we are here, with our humble request to you all for help.
Rahul’s family is financially not stable enough to support this mammoth cost of treatment. They are socially too weak to raise a fund as well. Still, they managed to borrow some amount going beyond their limitation, and spent around 70,000 already in the hospital and are now running out of money. So, we, a group of his friends started collecting money from our own pockets, but together, our collected amount could only reach Rs. 22,200, which is nowhere close to the massive amount asked by the hospital. And as every minute is crucial for his life, finally we came up with this idea of approaching you all for your kind help.
Together we stand. Even a single rupee means a lot, if shared by many. Kindly donate as much and as quick as you can. Let’s save Rahul, a life full of possibilities of tomorrow.
