My father's name is Raghukumar. S, aged 61 years has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. In January he suffered a Urinary tract infection (UTI) and it kept recurring despite treatments, this took a toll on my father’s health as he is a diabetic patient for 25 years. The UTI affected his kidneys and despite the ureter stent surgery performed with the hope that his creatine level can reduce, it ended up as chronic kidney disease and my father requires 2 dialyses per week.

The ureter stent needs to be removed through another surgery and an AV fistula for his dialysis needs to be performed. My father also suffered a Brain stroke last year and has other health complications such as Epilepsy, Diabetes, and High Blood pressure. These health complications which require multiple medications, injections, tests, and treatments have eroded our savings requiring us to take loans at higher interests. So far We have spent Rs 4,38,078/- (bills are attached) since January towards his treatments for his Chronic kidney failure.

Furthermore, my father needs regular dialysis 2 times a week, medications, and surgical procedures of AV fistula and ureter stent removal. I am the only son of my parents and there is no earning member in our family as I am still studying.

Me and my family are unable to afford  my father’s treatments and medications. I sincerely pray and appeal to support us financially and support my father’s treatment.
