I am a welfare volunteer and coordinate rescue and feeding in my neighbourhood. My friends and I found two puppies, both needing medical attention and care.

Honey (6-month-old) was found by 2 bikers. She was howling in pain a few nights back when she was brought to us on one of our feeding rounds.

We kept her with us and helped her with some temporary pain relief. We then took her for an x-ray which revealed a minor injury that will take at least a month to heal. Medication has been prescribed and her injured leg has been plastered.

The other pup, Andy, was found lying on the Vikhroli Kanjurmarg border on 12th January at around 4am by a police patrol car. A friend fostered her for the night and then rushed her to a private doctor for treatment. Her hind legs are badly injured due to heavy crushing and unfortunately, we were only able to save one. The other leg had to be amputated.

The puppies are currently with a friend until they heal after which they will move to his farm to join a gang of 5 indies.

Until then though, we are stuck with payments for their treatments. Our bills have piled to INR 27000 already and we need help to cover these expenses. I handle rescues and fosters and I am running low on finances myself hence this plea to you all. Do help out in any way possible.
