Raju lost his father when he was 4 years old. He belongs to a very poor family. But his mom didn’t give up, she took the responsibility of the family and struggled day and night, went for daily wage work to take care of her children.  Raju hails from Husnabad, Tirumalayapalem. He has 3 siblings of which one of the brothers works as a constable, and the others go for small daily wage works to support their mother. Raju has developed interest in studies and completed B.Sc. Math’s from Vikas Degree college in 2017. He wanted to pursue M.Sc. Maths and makes his family proud and financially stable. He went to government schools till he completed intermediate and scored school 1st in his tenth class and college 2nd in intermediate. But bad fate hit him hard, He was diagnosed with brain cancer. He used to run home tuitions and paid his college fees with that earnings. But on 18th August 2019, while he was in the middle of the tuition class, he was attacked with severe fits and collapsed. He was immediately shifted to a government hospital where they performed CT Scan and MRI test and the reports concluded that he has a tumor and blood clot in his brain. Doctors have performed surgery to remove the tumor. They have received 20% of the surgery cost from Aarogya sree and the remaining was taken as debt. 15 days back, Raju was shifted to Basavatarakam cancer hospital for radiation treatment, chemotherapy. He has to tablets and medication for a lifetime and it would cost Rs.25,000 per month. They have exhausted all the money on Raju’s treatment, but the treatment must continue to save him. Now when they are about to be relieved financially, this unexpected issue shattered everything.
