All COVID 19 patient's are admitted in isolation wards & quarantine centers.
Due to this the patients and family's members are often treated as untouchables with limited society support.
The idea behind creating a web based platform is to bring all COVID 19 patients under one roof for community discussions and peer support. Without this support they would end up getting into depression.
We know that depression can cause more damage that COVID itself.
Blueprint of the web/app based platform :
This platform will bring all COVID 19 positive / quarantine patients, doctors, elderly people and youngsters under one roof.
- Volunteers would come forward to help and deliver essentials for those in quarantine or self isolation ( or ) other elderly or sick people nearby though location based app.
- Patients can discuss everything and everything within the group or private chat, like cracking jokes , health related problems, common symptoms and solutions faced by patients ect . after all this is a social get together and chill out place to beat the bad phase.
- The platform will have volunteer doctor's .. such that all necessary advice is propagated to the patients.
- Other elderly or sick people ( non COVID 19) can request for nearby youngster's help for essentials or medicines..
Future roadmap :
- THIS WILL BE A NON PROFIT COMMUNITY PLATFORM .
- COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND DONATIONS GOING FORWARD.
- Hall of fame ( by blessing points ) of all the volunteers.
- Tie ups with other NGOs / other international non profit orgs / philanthropic investors / other companies based on platform response .
Technical design , requirements and resource planning:
- React JS front end. ( will develop myself )
- AWS VM and RDS backend ( design will be outsourced to freelance AWS developer as this is niche skillset )
- Spring Boot Backend ( myself and crowd freelance developers in various other open source communities )
- Domain ( godaddy / playstore /app store , will be decided based on the complexity or expense )
- Post golive support ( will be done by myself / need to hire in future based on product issues)
Note : These are planned to be done with tight expense based on various developers community .Most of the things will be done by myself to cut development/design/ support cost considering the crowdfunding response.
