This is a story about Pushpa. She is a trained nurse,  hardworking, sacrificing, a good mother, and a dedicated housewife.  

Her whole life has been about the sacrifices she made being the oldest sibling to taking on the household expenses of the house she got married to. It was always about meeting daily needs and taking care of her only son's education needs, being the only earning member of the house. Some months she could barely make ends meet. She currently works as a staff at my clinic in Wadakkanchery and lives close to me as well.

          Living in her husband's ancestral house from the very beginning, she always harbored a desire to live in her own home one day,  but lack of sufficient funds never saw her closer to that dream. The house in the photo is her unfinished home. She requires money to manage the basic requirements of the house like electricity, septic tank, front and back doors which need to be met at the soonest as the partition of her husband's ancestral house will soon be underway. She has nowhere to go after that.
