"7 years ago when i was passing through from a slum area of Noida, I saw some children picking up the trash were totally intoxicated. I asked them - Do you go to school? they said - No, we just do trash picking and begging for having one time meal. That statement of the kids made me think over that I must do something for them, from that day I promise to myself to educate them for a better future" - Prince Sharma [founder of Challengers Group].
Challengers Group has previously provide education to more than 100 underprivileged children and want to provide even more education for those children who are not able to go to school and want to give them a better life.
Now over 75 children of slum is being educated in the free education center called "Challengers Ki Pathshala" which is running by the Challengers Group in slum area of noida. Prince and his members running this free education center for more than 2 years without any source of income.
In beginning they had to face a lot of difficulties, All the members bought copy, books and stationery items by their own pocket money to the kids , still they have to face difficulties as they taught children in a tin shed without electricity even they don't get the fresh water and good quality of food , and our motto is to provide them all things which they are deprived of along with education.
What Challengers Group do else:
- Distribute copy, books and stationery.
- Organize awareness programs like:
- Nukkad Natak [Street play].
- Traffic safety rules.
- Women empowerment etc.
4. Organize Medical camps.
Why do Challengers Group need funds:
The Challengers Group who running the free education center for underprivileged children wants to educate the children of nearby slum too, who are not able to go to school and wants to provide them good quality food, fresh water and a source of electricity along with education , but the contribution from all of the members is not enough to fulfills all the requirements for the children. Through your support we can be able to give them good food, water, and will get the problem of electricity solved.
