My Dream Is To Play For India At The Olympics: Preyesh

Preyesh Raj was only 7-years-old when he took a keen interest in playing table tennis after watching his father play in office tournaments. He’s now 11-years-old and currently ranked No. 1 in the under 12 category for table tennis. He recently won his maiden National Crown in cadet boys’ category. Prior to this, Preyesh represented the country at the junior level and has also won medals in Japan, Maldives and Thailand.

Preyesh's dream is to play for the country at the Olympics one day and make India proud. He’s working hard and is determined to break into the senior level soon. His coach is confident about his capabilities of representing the country at higher levels.

Unfortunately, Preyesh’s father has been diagnosed with end-stage heart failure and is awaiting a heart transplant. Even though he desperately wants to support his son’s dreams and help him achieve his goals, his hands are tied. He doesn't have the means to support Preyesh's training owing to his medical condition. Preyesh needs all the help he can get to undergo training and achieve world level status in table tennis.
