My Dad Praveen Trikha is 58yrs old. He is admitted in Fortis hospital, Noida from last 1 week. He has been diagnosed with COPD and doctors are also diagnosing AMS.
Till a month ago he was perfectly well, he used to get up and do his daily chores and infact other than taking care of himself and family in past 1yr he has also helped a lot of covid patients and their families. Matter of fact until just about 2 weeks ago he used to cook and serve food for 50 to 100 covid patients and their families daily. But 1 day it all çhanged.
2weeks ago he got up with slight fever and since then his health was deteriorated. He kept fighting till last week when he suddenly stopped responding and was bedridden when we rushed him to hospital.
The immediate analysis confirmed his sodium level had dropped, diabetes was high, and potassium in kidney was also high. At present doctors are still trying to identify the main cause of this however these observations will take time. They have been able to identify COPD as one of the causes and trying to understand if there are any symptoms of infection in brain. Because he has difficulty in responding. Dad is not ready for MRI at this stage as per doctors analysis and MRI has been put on hold.
Me and my brother have managed most of the expensis till now, but we are exhausted ànd so is his insurance. We can manage his treatment for next few days but as per doctors his treatment might go longer than 2weeks.
Hence as our last resort we are seeking your help to save my father. The treatment cost might increase but this is an estimate based on 2 weeks of treatment.
