Hello, I am Pratyush Mallick pursuing my Bachelor in Technology in Instrumentation & Electronics Department from College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar. I have been selected for the upcoming 2019 Sports Entrepreneurship Boot camp organized by MIT at Hoffenheim, Germany from 7th to 13th September. I am shortlisted from an outstanding pool of applicants that included students, professionals, entrepreneurs and inventors from all over the world. I am attaching the admission letter from MIT for your reference. My objective is to grow as an individual in a technological industry by identifying and solving the world problems, that would make a difference in the lives of people. Boot camps are an excellent resource for students like us to get nurtured at a scale that helps them to think beyond system design capabilities and effectively collaborate with fellow teammates across the globe.
Admission to MIT Boot camps is highly selective and is based on the following four criteria: Open and Critical Thinking, Initiative with follow-through, Capacity for Calculated Risk, and focus on Community. Participants learn, and practice critical skills required to be leaders and drive innovation and collaboration: Teamwork, Communication, Mutual Goal Reinforcement, and giving Feedback. I have attached some pictures of my past achievements to indicate my inclination towards the technical field. I belong to a middle-class family which has made it a bit harder to chase my dreams.
