 मुझे याद है पहली बार हमने अपने बच्चे को देखा था;  आपको उसकी तस्वीरें देखनी चाहिए!  हम बहुत खुश थे, । फिर, एक दिन, मेरी पत्नी ने मुझसे कहा कि  मुझे लग रहा है कि हमारा बच्चा ठीक नहीं है;  वह खाना खा रही थी, फिर भी वह वजन नहीं उठा रही थी।  जब हम डॉक्टर के पास गए तो मैं सदमे में थी जब उसने कहा कि हमारे बच्चे को दिल की बीमारी थी।

 मैं अब काम नहीं कर रहा हूं।  दिन-रात, मैं और मेरी पत्नी अस्पताल में रहते हैं, हमारे बच्चे को देखने के लिए इंतजार करते हैं।  उसे आईसीयू में रखा गया है।  उन सभी पाइपों और ट्यूबों को उसके छोटे शरीर से जोड़ा गया, मैं उसे उस अवस्था में देखने के लिए सहन नहीं कर सकता।  डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि उसे ऑपरेशन की ज़रूरत है, कि वह इसके बाद ठीक हो जाएगी।  लेकिन उसके ऑपरेशन को संभव बनाने के लिए मेरे पास पैसे नहीं हैं।  अस्पताल का कहना है कि उसके पूर्ण इलाज के लिए रु।  19.46 लाख।  मैंने अपने जीवन में कभी भी इस राशि को नहीं देखा है;  अब मुझे यह कहां से मिलेगा?

 मेरी पत्नी ने गोल्ड लोन लिया है।  मैंने जो भी बचत की थी, वह मैंने खर्च कर दी है।  क्या आप कृपया कुछ देंगे और हमारे बच्चे को बचाने में हमारी मदद करेंगे?  हमारे सभी दुख इसके लायक होंगे, अगर हम उसे घर वापस ले जा सकें, सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ रहें।  क्या आप हमारी मदद करेंगे?"

I am not working now. Day and night, my wife and I stay in the hospital, waiting to see our child. She has been kept in the ICU. All those pipes and tubes attached to her small body, I cannot bear to see her in that state. The doctors say she needs an operation, that she will be fine after it. But I have no money to make her operation possible. The hospital says her complete treatment needs Rs. 19.46 lakh. I have never seen this amount of money in my life; where do I find this from now?
