Help Urmila Nagar fight Lung Transplant

*Help My Friends Mother  Urmila undergo Lung Transplant*

I am here to raise funds for a double-lung transplant that has been recommended to my mother, Urmila Nagar. His mother, who is just 53 years old, was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) in 1999. The condition involves irreversible scarring of the lung tissue and eventual failure of the patient's respiratory mechanism. It is a rare but one of the most debilitating medical conditions in the world. IPF is an incurable disease with a poor prognosis. Having said that, she was fortunate to be under the care of exceptional doctors who had managed to keep her disease's progression under check. However, despite the best medical care and consultations, her illness has aggressively progressed to the advanced stage. Ever since July 2017, her condition has continuously declined and warranted frequent hospitalizations. She has been on 24*7 supplemental oxygen support for almost two years now and in addition to that, she requires respiration assisting machines .

Hi everyone,

My mother had to be admitted in the ICU for another case of exacerbation. She required a high volume of supplemental oxygen and was required to be put on a Non Invasive Ventilator.

We continue to wait for a suitable donor match, and request you to keep supporting and sharing the campaign.

Thank you!

Hi Everyone,

As some of you may be aware, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) is a progressive disease. As a result, my mother's health has been continuously deteriorating. She has been hospitalized twice already in quick succession. As I write this update, my mother has once again been suggested hospitalization over complaints of low oxygen saturation and chest pain.

While we wait for a suitable donor match, we also hope for her condition to remain stable.

I'd like to thank all those who have supported us during this journey, and request you to share this campaign within your circles.

Thanks,

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your support and donations. While the illness continues to progress, we wait to hear back from the hospital regarding a suitable donor match. She has already been listed on the State Repository of Organs and we are hopeful of getting a donor match soon.

She undergoes regular physiotherapy sessions and medications to best manage her health and mobility. Once again, I would like to thank everyone for their support.

Regards,
