SANKALP: K – CET COACHING
Sankalp is an initiative that dreams of educating 40,000+ children who cannot afford a formal CET training. The goal is to make every student an asset to the nation by improving and sharpening their skills into writing their own destiny!
SANKALP provides coaching for K – CET exams that helps students to take the first step towards their dream of becoming an engineer.
We believe the best should go to every student irrespective of any bias, whatsoever. We are hence focusing on 1000+ Government PU colleges, across the State of Karnataka.
Through our programme, students will get an opportunity to access virtual coaching under the expert guidance from eminent faculties from Kota – the Capital for Engineering preparation- and Bangalore!
The word SANKALP means “Oath”.
During my formative years, I was immersed in the education field, and have personally seen the dreams these kids have in their eyes. However, due to lack of financial assistance, they let go of these dreams to start pursuing careers that they are perhaps not cut out for. During this phase, I took a Sankalp that someday I should change this, whenever I get the strength. During my interactions with some like-minded teachers whose objectives too, were to teach the underprivileged, I shared my dream and they chipped in their bit. Today, we are confident of taking this dream ahead. We will have some of the best teachers and other eminent educationalists, primarily from Kota and Bangalore, as well as from across the country.
Our vision is to integrate quality teachers and their valuable content with technology, giving students a great opportunity to learn free of cost, while steadily aiding in their outcome improvement.
What SANKALP provides?
Prasanna Karthik S: Founder of SANKALP, earlier worked with leading E- learning companies. I travelled throughout Karnataka for the CET and NEET marketing courses. These classes used to happen through satellite for a reasonable fee of ₹1000/- per subject. However, I noticed that in some places, the students couldn’t afford it. In order to reach out to those students too, I came up with SANKALP!
I am joined by:
Smt. Lalitha Subramanian, who comes from a family of teachers and academicians, whose support and encouragement has got me to write this note to you. She has consented to provide the initial seed capital to start this off. With the academic year coming to a close, she has consented to put her life savings and help me get started.
Smt. Priya Vasudevan: A Senior resource who has worked earlier with many educational institutions of repute and guided many students to take the right path. She helped me conceptualise and add value to my thoughts. She has consented to support me in every step and will help take this forward.
Sri. Subramanian Srilal – A good old friend of mine. A professional from IIMC, he has held several important positions in Strategy in several software companies. He has also served the Government of Karnataka by providing management consultancy. He has agreed to mentor us and keep the engine running!

- Every weekday, 2 sessions of 1 hour each.
- 160 hours of classes for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- Live Mock Tests conducted every Saturday.
- Live doubt discussion sessions on Sundays with professional faculty.
- Learning Management System.
