For the last two years, we at Aatma Prakash too made multiple choices and each time we chose Togetherness and Empathy as our pillars of building an emotionally resilient community.
We exist to build accepting and inclusive communities of togetherness for youth.
Who are we?
Aatma Prakash Foundation in collaboration with Global Shapers, Germany an initiative under World Economic Forum has come together to support the emotional wellbeing of 2000 youth from underprivileged backgrounds.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- The world is one family is a collaborative initiative which is working towards nurturing the hearts and minds of youth (13-18 years). We provide training to aspiring psychologists to provide safe spaces of acceptance and empathy for youth.
Past two years have fundamentally changed the way we connect, relate and meet people. Our youth has already spent almost 2 years in the four walls of their house.
Since the Pandemic, 285 million young learners are coming up with stories and struggles of mental health concerns. One major reason for the silent suffering is lack of support among youth. Let us together change this story to lack to a story of support.
In partnership with Global Shaper Germany and Teach for India, Delhi- we aim to continue to develop emotional resilience among at least 2,000 youth. Our Mind ki Paathshaala (MindShala LIVE) allows for youth to understand themselves, develop interpersonal skills and learn ways to regulate difficult emotions like anxiety, stress and anger.
