As a rescuer, it's been 5 years since I started my journey in Animal Welfare. It has had it's fair share of highs and lows. As time has gone by, things have made me want to work even more. One of my all time dreams was to build my very own animal shelter.
Since joining Citizens For Animal Protection Foundation, I have got the chance to work in various aspects of animal welfare. Recently, in association with Yeoor Environmental Society, we started building our very own Animal Shelter, Freedom Farm.
Our plan is to create a rescue and educational centre which not only serves to treating animals but also to raise awareness and create compassion among people towards all kinds of animals.
We have started with a part of the shelter, which is being used for some of our rescued animals.
Birthdays can be a very special time for anyone. People love to gift on this special day.
People ask me what sort of gift I would want on my birthday. Well, I finally have the perfect answer - Help me build my shelter!
One small contribution from everyone can go a long way towards helping animals in need. Even if each person contributes Rs.50, it goes a long way towards building the shelter
A small Brief about Freedom Farm -
I plan to keep this as a month long fundraiser, and whatever amount I raise, I plan to directly send to CAP's Account.

A small Brief about Freedom Farm -
- Freedom Farm is a humble abode being built by Citizens For Animal Protection Foundation for all animals.
- This is in association with Yeoor Environmental Society who will be providing the land.
- It is located on the outskirts of Thane City, near Waghbil Gaon.
- Our goal is to create a self-sustaining shelter where we plan to create a structure which could help us generate all the basic resources within.
- We are working towards creating a sustainable structure in collaboration with an organization called ‘MEE’.
