    Poor School Girls

    from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh

80G tax benefits for INR donations

In rural areas of eastern UP, India, there is a significant drop in female students attending schools, especially during winters and the rainy season. The reason behind this is that the girls have to walk long and unsafe routes through deserted fields to go to school. Either there aren't proper roads and public transport, or the poor parents cannot afford the fares. Dropping out of school results in labor work, early marriages, pregnancy, and domestic violence.

A bicycle will solve this problem. It is the most eco-friendly, no pollution, no fuel, and low maintenance vehicle that can make the journey to school safer and faster than before.

Our Aim:
By November this year, we wish to provide 100 bicycles to 100 school-going girls from backward areas of Maghi, Avtarpur, Khemipur, and the surrounding humble villages of eastern UP. We will be posting photos of the distribution event so that you can witness the joy of getting the new mode of transportation and renewed confidence on the faces of the girls.
