Path Sanjivani Charitable Trust About Path Sanjivani - Path Sanjivani is a not-for-profit charitable organization based in New Delhi, founded in July 2021 and registered under the Indian Charitable Trust Act.
The organization is founded by Mr. Sukhbir Singh who is a health professional working in the social development sector for more than 20 years with the objective of making the availability of healthcare services at the home of the beneficiaries. Mr.Sukhbir Singh has worked in various organizations and his roles vary from organizing and managing health care activities at the field level as well as administration of the programs at the management level. He has worked on various health issues which range from – general health ailments to cancer Detection and Covid-19 awareness. He has a very good understanding of the need of the beneficiaries at the field level as well other aspects related to organizing projects to provide facilities to the needy communities.
After working for many years with different organizations and gaining the required experience, Mr. Sukhbir Singh realized that the basic health need of the marginalized communities is ‘Health diagnosis and Cancer Screening facility near their homes’, and he finally decided to start his own organization focusing on providing health diagnosis services at the homes of the needy population hence he founded ‘Path Sanjivani Charitable Trust’.
Literal meaning of Path means ‘The Way’ and Sanjivani is ‘The Cure’, hence the name of ‘Path Sanjivani’ defines its name i.e. – ‘On the way to Cure’ and the objective of the organization is ‘To provide healthcare services to the needy and marginalized populations at their homes who either have very limited access or no access to the health facilities’.
To implement its programs of health care at the community level, Path Sanjivani uses the following methods: – Need identification of communities through baseline Organizing health camps Planning of activities Camp based on the baseline Collection of blood samples from the homes, Cooperate Offices, Societies, NGO’S community of beneficiaries, Dental Care, Breast, Cervical, and PSA Cancer Caner Screening & Eye Glass Screening, Covid – 19 Tests Camps. Awareness generation through IEC activities Sharing reports and prescriptions by Doctors Engaging community leaders for field support Follow-up activities with beneficiaries and communities Resource mobilization at community level Capturing success stories for documentation We have experienced professionals like our staff and supporters who can support in achieving targets.
