Mango tree is closed at the moment due to the covid19 pandemic and currently families of these kids are struggling for the daily meals. Most of the parents are daily wedge workers and are left at their tiny homes without any food due to countrywide lockdown at the moment.
The organisation is already delivering food packets at the moment to support these kids and their families in these tough times as that is all they need at the moment to survive.
One raw food package cost them approx Rs 450 per family. Each parcel weighed almost a stone (around 6kgs) and provided rice, flour dal, oil, masala, tumeric and a jar of pickle. On the basis that a kg of rice will provide about 25 meals and a kg of flour around 35 chapattis we know parents can provide meals for a child for around a month.
Can you please help them with delivering these food packages if possible. An amount equivalent to even a single food package would go a long way in these grim times for these kids and their families.
In return, I promise to contribute for 10 families myself and personally visit them as soon as I can and allowed to send big thanks to you all!
Love and Hope!
