My name is Mahendra Kumar and I am here to fundraise for my sister, Pinky Kumari.
Pinky Kumari is 25 years old and she has 2 daughters, 1st daughter is just 3years old and others just arrived in the world just 10days before hospitalized she is not even a month old. Pinky is residing in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has been diagnosed with a Brain tumor. But she needs medical treatment to fully recover. She is being treated at MGM Hospital which will cost around Rs.20,00,000.
We all got to know on 10th October when she started complaining severe headache. So we went to a clinic and a doctor advised us to do a CT scan because they were not able to control her by anyhow, we did a CT scan but in that it was not clear to identify whether its a tumor or any kind of tumor.
So doctor asked to do MRI scan with so much difficulty we did MRI and then doctor found that it's a tumor diagnose.
So immediately we took an opinion from all other doctors in chennai and admitted her at MGM hospital Chennai on 12th October 2019 and we got a quotation of 5lakhs is the maximum for the surgery. So we were well planned and we were able to manage and admitted her because Dr Sridhar has giving confident that they will make her alright.
Doctor planned for surgery on 17th October and by god grace the surgery was successful and everyone was so happy and thought like 2 days they will keep on ICU care, then ward and discharge but suddenly complication started and found that fluid is accumulating in the brain. So she needs to go under minor surgery and insert a EVD tube and from tube they drain fluid.Then did a tracheostomy, mechanical ventilation and still, she is under neuro ICU care.Per day cost of ICU is 25000.
