Story

COAID- CARE FOR THE UNPROTECTED
The second-wave of COVID-19 has caused a lot of havoc in India. The mass migration of poor migrant workers has left them vulnerable to the deadly viral infection, as well as putting their villages at risk of community transmission.

COAID is assisting vulnerable communities in their battle against the CORONA pandemic by supplying oxygen cylinders, food, and essential necessities such as medications, sanitation kits, masks, and other necessities. COAID is preparing for the pandemic's aftermath and plans to reach out to these families in rural communities to meet their basic needs.

Utilization of funds:

1. Over 50,000 3 ply masks are required.
2. Since the village population is struggling as a result of the loss of livelihoods, CountOnUs is distributing food packets to ensure that no one goes to bed hungry. Meal includes- Dal, rice, 4 roti, 2 other veg dishes(as per availability) raita and salad.
3. Basic immunity boosters-
ORS
Medicines of vitamin C-
Limcee 6000(packet)
4. Oxygen Concentrators (Doctor Trust) -
15 Pieces
Oxygen Cylinders And Refilling and New 25 Oxygen Cylinders

A Camp with trained workers would be sent from village to village with a team of doctor and nurse for ensuring people's good health. Each area would be monitored weekly. We also plan to extend out to 50 or so families in Banasingha, a tree-lined village in Jharkhand's Giridih district, as well as Kuil village in the Khunti district. All villages and blocks in the vicinity of Ranchi would be  looked after. Jharkhand's relief is the goal.

As the number of cases in the country are increasing, hospitals are finding it difficult to accommodate new patients, and a severe shortage of hospital beds, ventilators, and oxygen is causing significant stress across the country. Poor migrant workers who have moved to their villages and are in dire need of  quarantine amenities and public awareness activities. We make certain to obtain District Collector's permission before commencing it.

Please help us fight this battle by contributing generously.
So we could TAKE CARE OF THE VULNERABLE.
