    This fundraiser will benefit

    people with disability

    from Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir

A few years ago, we lost a very precious member of our family. She was 4 years old when she suffered severe pneumonia which paralysed her for the rest of her life, deprived her of her voice and she never spoke again. It also affected her neurological growth leading her into a special world of people with disability.

Taking care of her for 64 years of her life made us realize that there are a lot like her out there. The innumerable amount of problems that she faced are still faced by many. A big chunk of her life went by fighting battles of social stigma just for being different.

People with special needs require more attention, extra care than usual and most importantly confidence and self-esteem to keep up with the world.

Brave Daughters is one such initiative for people with special needs who are struggling in their day to day lives to socialise and connect with other people without the fear of being judged or called out.

Our vision is to make public spaces more friendly and Safer space for people with disability. We are starting it by building a park in the Loving Memory of our beloved daughter of the family.  Where people like her can enjoy being out in nature, socializing, doing recreational activities, physiological activities which will help them in their growth and development.

Help us support this cause to end the stigma and move towards acceptance and make this world a better place to live for everyone.
