A group of like minded friends have come forward under the name "Bondhu" to support a cause. Everyone knows about the need of the hour in India currently. COVID 19 has impacted us to a great extent. There are a lot of people who are finding it difficult to afford the cost of the treatment.

Many lives can be saved with even simple supplemental oxygen. Paying hospital deposits or even bills for patient admission is not possible for families who struggle for basic survival (Think about your house-help, laborers!)

We are trying to work and collaborate with multiple groups who are fighting for the cause. One of them is Oxyzone. They already set up 7 oxygenation centers across Kolkata to provide oxygenation at the center to local patients whose SPO2 has not fallen below a severe critical level that needs immediate medical intervention.  Oxyzone now looks to expand to rural areas in West Bengal where it is even more difficult to get oxygen beds.

A part of the fund that we collect through this campaign will be used to help Oxyzone. We are also in the process of collaborating with other NGOs and groups. The utilisation of the fund will be updated here.
