Hello friends,
I am representing our organization TrueCompanion which is a non-profit organization enhancing the health and well-being of people and society in general by providing for effective mental health and human services and fostering sound, sustained career advice given by our experienced team of professional mentors.
We carry a vision for making a mentally sound society and to destigmatize mental health-related issues and thereby helping our Nation to flourish by nourishing the most important resource: The Human Resources.
We have been working on ground level for the past 2 months and feel blessed to help a number of people through our organization, one such inspiring account is of this particular girl, with no one to support her. Her brother had recently passed away, her parents were in no support of her in any way. She felt all alone. It was so bad for her that she was on the verge of committing suicide. Instead, she turned to TrueCompanion for help, a mentor was assigned to her and I'm grateful to say that she's very much alive and working on her way to recovery.
We have conducted a motivation booster session in NIT Allahabad on career counselling and also after session near 40 students availed our one-on-one counselling facility. Also, we have been helping people going through relationship trauma and other personal problems, so as to help them vent their pent up thoughts through our one-on-one counselling sessions. We are also working on taking up some serious issues which are thrust under the rag by society like Fight against domestic violence, and feel proud to help a person who bravely connected to us on our platform.
We have reached out to 1060 students as of now and we have conducted 16 sessions and have 120 volunteers so far. We aim to propagate awareness regarding all kind of mental health issues and also to normalize these things among us. Therefore, to reach a bigger target audience and help even more people day by day, we need 500000 the amount to use it for arranging better mentoring facilities and thus help people in a more agile way. Kindly support our cause by donating and sharing our fundraiser.
