His Paradise for the Deserted is a home located in Kamanahalli, where Sister Monica runs a home for approximately 15-16 children who are from lower income family groups with special needs.
This home is their shelter as their families are not financially able to take care of them. These children are abandoned by their families, sometimes found in gutters and abandoned on the streets. All children are unable to speak or care for them selves and need constant care.
This home is run by a selfless nun who bathes, clothes, feeds and protects these children. A visit to this NGO shows anyone who walks in what a lot of difference one dedicated human being can do with support from the community.
We are assisting Sister Monica raise money that will cover basic rent and salaries for a staff that can help, as taking care of these children is a 24 by 7 job. Apart from assuring a safe haven for these kids, Sister Monica ensures a healthy meal along with medical check ups and physiotherapy to keep the children healthy and comfortable.

The organizers of this fund raiser visit the home at least 2-3 times a month and will ensure we send in photographs and updates of the children for you to know how your money is being used.
If you are more comfortable donating in kind, below are some of the materials that they need regularly:
- Children Diapers - Pant Type only (Sizes M, L, XL). They need at least 30 Diapers everyday.
- Rubber Sheets.
- Room Air Fresheners.
- Toiletries (Floor Cleaners, Bathroom Cleaners, Children Soap, Shampoo, Body Lotion).
- Hand Sanitizers
- Room Disinfectants
- Children Cotton T-Shirts. Aged 3 to 12.
- Medicines (Prescription provided on request with Sr.Monica)
- Groceries
