I am Pawan Maru form Rajasthan. I lost my only son last year. I decided to honour his life by making medicine, such as Remdesivir and Fabiflu, more accessible. This means that I sell the medicine at cheap prices and delivery them as soon as possible.
However, I am unable to continue running the business because I cannot afford the amount of inventory that my new supplier requires me to purchase. The new supplier requires Rs 1 lakh upfront. I have paid 50% of the fees upfront, but I need to fundraise Rs 50,000 to make the full payment. If I am not able to make the full payment by 1st June then I would need to shut down my store.
The impact of closing the business would be devasting to my family and community. I will no longer be able to serve those who need access to medication for COVID-19 related complications.
