With the establishment of NGO in Jharkhand which will be fully dedicated for providing consultancy services to the marginal farmers who do not have optimum land holding and access to the resources for the self sustenance.
The main challenges/Issues for them are small land holding size, no access to credit facilities and agri inputs, lack of knowledge of various central and state government agricultural scheme, lack of latest good agricultural practices, use of traditional and inefficient tools, lack of access to the market, non remunerative income from the produces, no knowledge of the rates and prices of their produces, traditional agricultural practices with no integrated approach, lack of knowledge about other crops which could fetch good return, no irrigation facilities, lack of literacy, lack of backward and forward integration and many more.
These are few of the most prevalent issues which need to be taken to bring them into the main stream economy. For this purpose a project is being prepared to be administered at the Pakur District of Jharkhand, India initially. It is my desire to set up a comprehensive model comprising of complete solution. Later this model to be replicated to the other district of rural India step by step. It is my privilege to be an Agribusiness professional where I can use my expertise for this noble purpose.

What are the plan of action for above mention challenges ?

Mainly, it has to start with the capacity building of the marginal farmers by formation of farmer producer organizations.
Secondly, they are to be trained by providing frequent contact at their villages by resource person and training using audio visual aid.
They are to be trained to produce the high quality and high demanding produces to cater to the upper segment of the consumer by analyzing the supply and demand of the goods nationally or globally. Our team will be constantly researching the current supply and demand matrix of the produces so as to harness the commendable profits for them.
They will be trained to be self sufficient in producing green manure or organic manure for their farming and will be encouraged to move towards organic farming. They will be assisted in organic certification process of their lands.
They are to be assisted in availing government schemes for the various agricultural activities such as distribution of agricultural implements, crop insurance, irrigation system, rural solar system etc.
They are to be forward linked directly to the prospective buyers for their produces.
They are to be trained for other agricultural allied activities such as piggery, poultry farming, goat rearing, dairy farming, fishery, horticulture etc.
