Social organizations and individual humanitarians have been taking commendable efforts to help India fight the pandemic. Most of these initiatives are reaching big cities & large hospitals while the unpopular ones remain in dire need of help . One such place in India is Bihar .
With poor healthcare facilities ,COVID testing not being conducted effectively, the situation in Bihar continues to remain grim .While we see much help going around for other states of India ,we couldn't find much for Bihar. Many of us are willing to contribute for Bihar too but are unable to find an authentic medium through which we can help. That's when we a couple of friends from MIT (Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka ; Batch 2008-2012) started searching for a genuine organization working for covid relief in Bihar .We came across the generous Patna Sahib Gurudwara Trust which is already working on providing free Oxygen, Bed seva & Langar seva to the people of Bihar. Patients need to provide their ID & doctor's prescription to avail the facilities . Their work timings - 8AM to 8 PM. Many patients from various districts in Bihar are referred to hospitals in the state capital Patna with the hope of availing better medical facilities. But according to the statistics , Patna remains the worst hit among Bihar's 40 districts. Imagine Bihar's situation! In the absence of beds , Oxygen cylinders in the facilities, many hospitals in Patna are refusing to admit new Covid-19 patients till the supply is streamlined by the government.
How can you help?
We aim to raise as much funds as we can for the Gurudwara Trust to enable them arrange sufficient beds , oxygen , provide meals for the needy on a larger scale. Gurudwara Kangan Ghat has Oxygen Refilling Center & a Covid care Hospital where Oxygen Concentrators ,beds , doctors , staff are present .
You can make the donations using Google Pay by scanning the provided QR code (check attached picture), or by transferring to the mentioned bank accounts.
