I wish to raise funds for a mega clean up project in the rural area of Kulliyapalaym, Tamil Nadu.

There was a beautiful lush green open field size of a cricket ground with diverse insects and birds nesting in. Now, it has become the area's biggest dumpyard. Individuals early morning are coming in to dump their waste in this place, surrounding restaurants, shops all have accepted this spot as a dumpyard. The place is filled with all kinds of trash (glass bottles, papers, cloth, plastic bottles, electonic waste). I wish to hold a Sunday event to gather about 500+ people and take their help for cleaning this up. Our plan is to collect all the waste, segregate into as much we can, fill in the trucks and tractors with it and take it to nearby city (Pondicherry) dumping solution.

This is calling for urgency as we are expecting some rains end of July month and trash being there while the rains come will spread lots of diseases and toxicity.

Funds required are for the following:
-Protective Mask, gloves and trash picking stick for people coming in to help
-2 JCB rented full day for helping with removing garbage dug beneath
-5 Trucks to help us transport the waste from the spot till nearby dumping solution
-Refreshments, medicals, security for the people coming in to help
-Promoting the event over radio, using graphics to promote online over networking sites and e-mails
