Story

Neralur, is a sprawling village on the outskirts of Bangalore City, blessed with nature’s bountiful flora and fauna. Neralur, also known as ‘Chayapuri, has a rich cultural and political history to rave about, and this might interest folks yearning to dig deep into Neralur’s cultural, religious, and social intricacies which have been soothingly knitted since times of yore.
In recent times, Neralur has seen immense industrial and residential development due to its proximity to Electronics City, the flag bearer of India’s IT renaissance. The hitherto bubbling green eco spaces have given leeway to unplanned and accommodative concrete structures, thus changing the village eco system keeping in tandem with present times. As of 2022, Neralur happens to be the biggest Grama Panchayath in Karnataka state, adding to the significance and magnitude of voluminous changes the village has seen in recent times.
Residents of Neralur have now joined hands, to convert the village landscape to a more breathable, livable, and hospitable haven which might excite nature purists. As the adage from Rig Veda goes, “Atmano Mokshartha Jagath Hithayacha”, meaning, ‘for the salvation of our individual self and for the well-being of all on earth’, we are providing an opportunity for all yearning donors waiting for an opportunity to put in their mite in furthering this noble cause.
We have 2 projects that are running in parallel as part of this initiative.
1)    Development of Village Kalyani (Pond), adjoining Neralur lake
a.    Construction of concrete steps in the Kalyani
b.    Water purifying unit
c.    Walking pathway in the Kalyani periphery
2)    Development of a park adjoining the Kalyani (Pond)
a.    Tree Plantation
b.    Playground with flood lights
c.    Children’s play area
d.    Walking pathway
Our conservative cost estimates for these 2 projects are 50 lakh Indian Rupees.
Please join us in this noble and soul quenching initiative to make our world a better place to live!
