Parimita  is diagnosed with TTP and in hospital since 1 feb 2021, causing low pltlt ..
A lack of activity in the ADAMTS13 enzyme (a type of protein in the blood) causes thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). The ADAMTS13 gene controls the enzyme, which is involved in blood clotting. Not having enough enzyme activity causes overactive blood clotting.
3rd line of treatment started, tomorrow(27 feb 2021) is 3rd dose of rituximub.... We don't know  how long time she will be in hospital or how long PLEX will continue,(praying for speedy recovery 🙏🙏)... First line of treatment cost was 4.50LAKH (paid) and todays balance is around 10 Lakh, in which we already paid around 3.4lakh.., we are paying every 3rd day of treatment around 2 lakh + others expenses.
