The Palghar District Basketball Association (PDBA) established in 2016 is a 'Non-Profit organisation' based out of Vasai (Palghar District), near Mumbai. Currently, our children and youth learn and practice basketball on a makeshift basketball court (literally on a road), allocated by a gracious realtor company located at Vasai East. This provides us with many challenges, including dealing with traffic and restricted ability to use the space, limiting benefit for the children.
Therefore, the PDBA has decided to construct a dedicated basketball court, the first of its kind in Vasai-Virar, with the objective of uplifting children and youth from under-resourced sections of society through the sport we love. We firmly believe that better basketball infrastructure will play a pivotal role in helping the children and the youth of Vasai to adopt a better lifestyle, alongside fostering the spirit of sportsmanship. For this, your assistance will be invaluable.
